At a time of immense global change, we need to think big. We need solutions that address sustainability problems at scale. This session will feature a talk by Eric Lambin. Dr. Lambin, a geographer and environmental scientist, divides his time between the Université catholique de Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) and Stanford University, were he occupies the Ishiyama Provostial Professorship at the School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences and the Woods Institute for the Environment. His talk is entitled "Scaling up solutions for sustainable land use.” Following his talk, Gretchen Daily will begin a conversation with him and invite questions from the audience.
